Tasmanian author and commentator Richard Flanagan launched James Boyce's Van Diemen's Land - a new, groundbreaking history of the settlement of Tasmania - at the North Fitzroy Star in February 2008.
I am a documentary filmmaker, writer, film valuer and Visiting Scholar in Communication, FASS UTS. I have completed ‘memory film: a filmmaker's diary' with MIFF Premiere Fund, Screen Australia and Documentary Australia, based on my Super8 collection, with an immersive score by Joseph Tawadros.
